PROCEDURE FOR WORKING WITH ANGELS FOR MOORE
- 1) Prepare your business plan, which includes the executive summary. Your executive summary is the Angels' first introduction to your project. The summary will either spark an Angel's interest and encourage him or her to request your full business plan, or it may dissuade them from considering your project. For guidance in preparing your executive summary, please click HERE.
- For additional assistance with your business plan, contact Marilyn Neely, Director of the Small Business Center at Sandhills Community College. Her direct phone number is 910-695-3938 or email her at neelym@sandhills.edu.
- 2) Submit your executive summary and full business plan to angels@angelsformoore.org. The executive summary will then be sent via email to the angels. You will not have the opportunity to address the angels at this point.
- 3) If one or more angels is interested in your project, then Angels for Moore will forward your full business plan to the interested angel(s). If enough interested is generated, you can expect either: 1) to be contacted directly by interested angel(s); 2) for Angels for Moore to arrange a private, one-on-one meeting between you and an interested angel; or 3) for Angels for Moore to coordinate a meeting where you may make a Powerpoint presentation and distribute any additional materials to a group of interested angel(s).
- 4) At this point, Angels for Moore can facilitate further communication between you and the interested angel(s) if desired; otherwise, you will work directly with the interested angel(s) regarding the terms of any investment.
